This is your stage. All we do is provide you with addresses of schools whose students will be happy to receive writing and painting utensils.
You go out and make a difference in these children’s lives – and who knows what else you might discover for your own life along the way. Enjoy the adventure!
Education
Every big adventure starts small with the first step. If you want to write your very first letter, what do you need to take that first step? Something to write. A pen or a pencil.
Millions of children do not have access to a simple pencil. I know, it’s hard to believe. Your direct actions can help to make this current reality a story of the past – one pen at a time.
Sharing is caring
Every change in this world starts directly with you. You have so much power! Life becomes fun when you learn to use this power for the good of yourself and others. Even if you feel like you have nothing to give, you can still start very small and realize how much better it makes you feel about yourself. Collect a bunch of pens and make some children’s day. It can be that simple.
Compassion
Make your pen collection action a school project. Pick one or two schools from different parts around the world. Learn everything you can about the specific countries where the schools are. How do children live there? What does the landscape look like? What do people do for work? Would you like to be a child in that country?
Healing
Creativity – scribbling, drawing, painting, writing, composing music and whatever other form comes to mind – can help process negative emotional energies and put the past in the past. Just grabbing a pen and wildly getting whatever sad, angry, frustrated emotion is currently bothering you out onto paper can help you feel better instantly. Give it a try.
